We understand support is helpful in deciding how to pay for health services. We offer the following options:
1. Insurance:
We are happy to bill your insurance. If you have a co-pay, it is due at time of service, and your service may be subject to your insurance deductible before your insurance starts to cover counseling.
Before your appointment at FCS, it can be helpful to contact your insurance company and ask the following questions:
a. Is this provider in-network
b. Do I have to pay my co-pay, or do I also have to meet my deductible before insurance starts to cover counseling.
c. How much of my deductible has been met
d. Do I have a limit of sessions that will be covered by my insurance company
e. Is pre-authorization, or additional authorization needed as I see my counselor
2. Sliding Fee – Part of the goal at FCS is to be a facility where no one gets turned away for lack of funds. The sliding fee scale is a good option for those seeking counseling at a discounted rate who do not currently have insurance. This scale is based on yearly income for the household, and how many people are currently living in the house. Proof of income is required to qualify.
3. Medicaid – We gladly accept Medicaid clients.
4. Out of Pocket – Every client at FCS has the option to pay for services out of pocket if they do not have or do not want to use their insurance benefits.
5. Care Credit - We are so proud to add this as an additional payment method. More information about this payment option can be found by calling our office, or going to Care Credits website at: www.carecredit.com
